ENTRANCE HOURS
Airshow gates are open for entry during the following hours unless otherwise noted.
- Friday, August 7 – 2:30 pm to 7:30pm
- Saturday, August 8 – 9:30 am to 2:30pm
- Sunday, August 9 – 9:30 am to 2:30pm
NOTE: Last event entry is 2.5 hours before the end of the flying performances each day.
GATES & DIRECTIONS
IMPORTANT: Gates are specific to ticket type. Please select your ticket type below for appropriate directions.
Do not follow GPS directions to the Abbotsford International Airport Terminal.
General Admission with Onsite Parking (Carload Passes)
General Admission with Onsite Parking (Carload Passes) ticketholders have 2 entrance options:
KING ROAD GATE: Located at 1615 Townline Rd
QUEEN STREET GATE: Located at 1810 Queen St
Walk-in General Admission (Adult/Youth)
Walk-in General Admission ticketholders may utilize the pedestrian event entrance at Chinook Aviation.
WALK-IN GATE: Located at 30660 Rotor Dr.
DRIVING IN: Entrance to Walk-in Parking is on Mt. Lehman Rd. (just South of Approach Dr.). Follow posted signage to parking entrance. Walk-in Parking Passes are limited in quantity and MUST be purchased online in advance.
WALK-IN PARKING OPENS AT 8:30AM – ABSOLUTELY NO EARLY ARRIVALS
TAXI/RIDESHARE (Uber/Lyft): Follow posted signage to Walk-in Parking entrance and continue to drop-off point at Cornell St. x Approach Dr. (vehicles will depart via Approach Dr.)
CYCLISTS/PEDSTRIANS: Proceed directly to Walk-in Gate at 30660 Rotor Dr. A courtesy bike rack is located near the gate. The Airshow accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property. Cyclists should take all precautions to secure their bikes and belongings.
PUBCLIC TRANSIT: BC Transit will be operating an Airshow Shuttle connecting the Highstreet Centre exchange with the Transit Stop at Cornell St. x Approach Dr. Please see the BC Transit website for more informaton.
Photo Pit
Photo Pit ticketholders have 2 entrance options:
NOTE: Saturday & Sunday Photo Pit ticketholders will receive special instructions by email regarding optional early access to the event grounds.

Business Lounges
Business Lounge ticketholders have 2 entrance options:

Altitude Chalet
Altitude Chalet ticketholders may utilize the VIP Gate on Walmsley Ave during the following hours:
- Friday, August 7 – 2:30 pm to 6:00pm

- Sunday, August 9 – 9:30 am to 1:00pm

Corporate Chalets
Corporate Chalet ticketholders may utilize the VIP Gate on Walmsley Ave during the following hours:

Campground
The Campground opens on Thursday, August 6 @ 12:00pm (Noon). No early arrivals are permitted.
IMPORTANT: Campground ticket holders should arrive via Mt. Lehman Rd x Threshold Dr. Campground access via Queen St. is NOT permitted.
CAMPGROUND GATE: Located at 30750 Threshold Dr.
ROAD CLOSURES
IMPORTANT: All closures, detours and times noted below are approximate and subject to change. Please check back for the most up-to-date information.
The following road closures and detours will be in effect during the following (approximate) hours.
- Thursday, August 6 – 10:00am – 8:00pm
- Friday, August 7 – 2:00 pm to 10:00pm
- Saturday, August 8 – 9:00 am to 5:00pm
- Sunday, August 9 – 9:00 am to 5:00pm
Event Road Closures:
The following road will be closed during event flying operations and are accessible to residents only with proper identification.
- TRACEY ST: between King Rd. & Walmsley Rd.
- WALMSLEY AVE: between Tracey St. & Clearbrook Rd.
- TOWNLINE RD: South of King Rd.
- QUEEN ST: South of Marshall Rd.
- HAMM ST: between Huntington Rd. & Zero Ave.
- HUNTINGTON RD: Closed between Mt. Lehman Rd. & Townline Rd.
- Follow Huntington Rd. detour South to Zero Ave.
TRANSIT & RIDESHARE
IMPORTANT: Attendees utilizing transit or rideshare will use the walk-in gate at 30660 Rotor Dr. (Chinook Aviation), which is available for our Saturday & Sunday events. This gate is not open on Friday.
By Bus: BC Transit will operate a special event shuttle on August 9 & 10 connecting the Airshow to the Highstreet Mall station. Please visit the BC Transit Website closer to the event for more information.
By Taxi/ Rideshare: Guests arriving by rideshare should use the Transit Stop at 30540 Approach Dr.
By HandiDart: Attendees intending to arrange transportation by HandiDart should contact us in advance for access information at [email protected]
