Abbotsford Airshow Acqiures GearBots Educational Resources to Advance STEM Program

Abbotsford, B.C. – The Abbotsford International Airshow Society and GearBots Educational Resources are proud to announce an exciting new partnership aimed at strengthening and expanding STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education opportunities for youth across the Fraser Valley.

This partnership marks a shared commitment to inspiring the next generation of aviators, innovators, engineers, and problem solvers by providing hands-on, engaging learning experiences in technology. By incorporating the resources, community reach, and expertise of GearBots, the Airshow will enhance its STEM program delivery and create new opportunities for youth involvement throughout the region.

Leading the initiative will be Dereck Dirom, who will serve as Program Coordinator. Dirom brings years of experience in STEM education and a passion for creating meaningful, interactive learning experiences for students.
