Sr. STEM Academy: Digital Design/Electronics – Aerospace Design Cohort – Building an RC vehicle

Prerequisite: registration for the Sr. STEM Academy is by invitation from our Jr Makerspace program OR for returning participants

Building an RC Vehicle introduces students to mechanical design, electronics, and problem-solving as they build and control their own remote-controlled vehicle. Students learn how motors, power systems, and controls work together while assembling, testing, and refining their vehicle through hands-on experimentation.

Students build and test a remote-controlled vehicle while learning the basics of mechanics, electronics, and system integration through hands-on challenges.

When: Tuesdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm with the exception of the third Tuesdays of the month
Dates: Apr 7, 14, 21*, 28, May 5, 12, 19*, 26, Jun 2, 9= 10 classes – $375.00 + GST
