2026 Spring Break – Camp One – Introduction to Coding Drones
Theme: Introduction to Coding a Drone Camp: – Coding in Scratch, Python, JavaScript using the Tello EDU drone
Description: In this introductory STEM camp, students will learn all about the exciting world behind programmable drones. The camp participants will learn how quadcopters fly and how to program their drones in a simulator. Once they have mastered the basic movement, campers will be introduced to the coding languages of JavaScript and Python. Campers will complete several tasks and challenges throughout the week. Students must bring a nut-free snack and water.
Course Dates: Monday to Friday, March 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 at the Airshow Compound on Threshold Drive – Abbotsford Airport
Day and Time: 9am to 12pm / Half-day camp
Ages: 10+
Cost: $255.00 +tax

Note: Participants need to bring peanut-free snacks/lunch suitable for a spring break camp – a refillable water bottle is recommended.

West of Airport: Drive south on Mt. Lehman Rd – turn left on Threshold Dr – travel east on the north side of the airport. Follow the road east. Go past Queens St and follow the access road until you see the Abbotsford Airshow Compound. There will be signage after you pass Queens St.
North of Airport: Drive south on Queens St. Turn left on Threshold Dr and follow the access road until you see the Abbotsford Airshow Compound. There will be signage once you turn onto Threshold Dr and go east.
