2025 Spring Chilliwack Middle School – Digital Design And 3D Printing

Theme:  Aerospace Design – Digital Design – Fabrication – 3D Printing
Description: This course is designed for students who want to learn and develop their digital design skills using TinkerCAD and OnShape. In this eight-week STEM course, students will learn all about digitally designing for the 3D printer and laser cutter. As students develop their design skills, they will have lots of opportunities to print and laser-cut their creations to take home. Students should bring a nut-free snack and water. This course is also suitable for students who have taken one of our previous camps/classes.
Course Dates:  Wednesdays – Apr 23, 30, 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4, 11 – 8 classes
Day and Time: 3:45pm to 5:15pm (1.5 hours per class)
Ages: 10+
Cost: $204.00 +tax

Note: Bring peanut-free snacks and a refillable water bottle is recommended.
Unique Features:

  • Build, test and refine a digital design from scratch
  • Digital design for the 3D printer and laser cutter with software
  • Design and fabricate several personal creations during the camp using the 3D printers and a laser cutter
  • Complete a design challenge for the course
  • All materials for the camp are covered in the camp fee
